For the Love of Bread!! Try this…..

Bread was a staple in my home growing up!! My mom was a baker/bread maker extraordinaire. Problem is today wheat is a hybrid, GMO and contains way more chromosomes than the original wheat of years gone by. My stomach can no longer handle bread unless I use Einhorn Flour from Young Living (a brand I trust) but even then it has to be in small doses. A piece of Naan every nw and again!!!

This bread is all nuts and seeds, is amazing to eat, easy to prepare, stores and freezes well!!!

TRY IT, I know you will love it….

2 cups of organic rolled oats
1 cup raw sunflower seeds, shell off
1/2 cup raw pumpkin seeds, shell off
1/2 cup raw almonds or hazelnuts
3/4 cup flaxseed
1/3 cup psyllium seed husks (you can buy at most grocery stores now in the vitamin section)
4 tablespoons chia seeds
2 teaspoons – or less… sea salt (fine ground)
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1/4 cup olive oil
2 1/2 cups water

Prehead your oven 350 degrees. Spread the sunflower, pumpkin and chopped almonds on a baking sheet and roast for 12 minutes, stirring frequently.
Mix the remaining dry ingredients into a bowl while your nuts and seed are roasting
Combine the roasted mixture with the other dry ingredients.
In a measuring cup combine the maple syrup, olive oil and water and pour over the dry ingredients and combine well.
Let this mixture set for an hour or so, then, transfer to your loaf pan. and let it set up for a couple of hours or more.

Transfer to the oven and bake at 400 degrees for an hour.

Once cooked, let it set and cook before cutting…
You are ready to eat and enjoy!!!
I know you will…
